Wednesday
well, things moving slowly here. shopped for fabric today. will go again tomorrow and purchase needed supplies for the week at Bernard. seems like it is getting hotter every day. maybe excitement kept us from feeling it on Monday.
Tuesday update
Ah, Tuesday. Carla went to Gebeau clinic. Bob stayed at guesthouse. He prepared school supplies for 5 schools. made 18 baby kits, and sized the boys shorts for us. Debi and Janet traveled to Bernard (Bee-na). the reception at the village was wonderful. they are so excited to have a new building. The one there wont continue to stand long, so it is good to be there. How supplies will make it, I do not know. hopefully, it will be like Christmas morning, and things will just BE there. The local pastor said that about 150 people attend, including all children. on revivals, there could be 200 or more. It was a wonderful experience to be there as they marked the first stone, and praised God for hearing their prayer that someone would come and help them.

Monday news
Monday everyone worked at guesthouse. sorting,sorting, and sorting. The girls traveled to Gebeau and met with friends at clinic and at orphanage. In the afternoon, the treadle machine and the electic machine were fired up, and 30 dresses were completed. Thanks to Levec. All in all a good day. Tuesday, work will begin

update on Sunday update
Just received word that the SUV carrying the group broke down, then they boarded a bus, that has broken down. I am waiting to find out where they are now. And go figure, they have requested the day off tomorrow!
Sunday Feb 26
Debi arrived in Jeremie Saturday morning. Another team was here, so house very busy with them. Carla, Bob, and Janet flying from Indy Saturday morning to PAP. They stayed all night at the Wall guesthouse. Cassy is driving them out to Jeremie today with 19 bags and a sewing machine. they should arrive about 3 or 4 oclock. Debi and Pastor Christnel will be planning the week shortly. keep us all in your prayers as we work and fellowship with the people of Haiti

Departure
Well, the adventure has begun! Bob, Carla, and Janet stuck in Indy, because of snow in Chicago. Debi is leaving now for airport in Nashville. more news later

Almost Time To Go
Packing, packing squashing and pushing supplies into tiny places. Putting little shampoos into shoes, bending knitted teddy bears into all sorts of little spots. Thank you to all my church members at First United Methodist Church in Mishawaka, IN . They have knitted teddy bears, donated yarn, vitamins and funds to help pay for all those extra bags and medications to help our many friends in Jeremie, Haiti.

Bob, Carla, and Debi are busy packing. Oh yes, Janet is in Las Vegas! Still trying to raise money. Not really, her daughter has a convention there, and her son is visiting from Calif. We are hoping for no delays for her return as she will have less than one day to get back on a plane. Everyone is so excited to see old friends and to begin another project in the Jeremie district. I will do my best to keep the blog going!
